Rugbyhotels is a sister site of footballhotels.co.uk

Footballhotels.co.uk hit the world wide web in August 2004, though the concept had been talked about for some time.

The site is run by football fans, we are exiled supporters of Swansea City, Cambridge City and Southampton. Being an exile means its sometimes impossible to make weeknight games unless you make it an overnight stay. Its ok in London but we found it really difficult to book hotels online in some more provincial towns.

Also we like to have a few weekend trips during the season and we thought this football resource might help fans plan their trips. We are also looking to include more information on local sites and of course the local brew!

We have been approached by fans of several different rugby clubs who asked us for help in booking hotels near rugby matches. So we thought why not! A lot of our mates are Rugby fans including the infamous Ospreys Cowboys!!

We have teamed up with Active Hotels to provide you the football fan with over 3800 UK hotels all bookable online and most with their own guest reviews. Where possible we have given the distance from the ground rather than the centre.

We have revamped the site and hope you will find it even easier to use. If you have any suggestions for us then please get in touch. We are very open to new ideas. We have included some affiliate links to thetrainline for train tickets, to auto-europe for car hire, the usual betting site and the National Lottery. We always forget to put our lottery on during matchdays so thought this may be a useful service.
